After shining the name of haryana(Hissar) in Glasgow, now number of players from Haryana are going to play asian games in China with the strong hope of medals for haryana and their country. Haryana players are competing in wrestling, Boxing, hockey and other games also.
Hooda Govt said, winners of gold, silver and bronze medals at the Asian Games would get Rs two crore, Rs one crore and Rs 50 lakh respectively instead of Rs 25 lakh, Rs 15 lakh and Rs 10 lakh earlier.
The Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced that winners of gold, silver and bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games, the award money has been raised to Rs one crore, Rs 50 lakh and Rs 25 lakh from Rs 15lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs five lakh respectively.
He said that for Olympics, the state government has already announced to give Rs five crore for winner of gold, Rs three crore for silver and Rs two crore for bronze medal.
The Chief Minister also announced the decision of the State Government to give employment to outstanding sports persons.
He said that Sajeev Rajput, an outstanding shooter, has been appointed as Inspector in Police Department.
Constable Ramesh Kumar, Kabbadi player has also been appointed as an Inspector while Anil Kumar, wrestler, has been appointed as Inspector.
Parmila Devi has been appointed as Sub Inspector in recognition of her outstanding contribution in the field of sports as a Kabbadi player.
